Planning & Budget Committee

The purpose of the Planning and Budget Committee (PBC) is to serve as the primary recommending body to the President’s Advisory Cabinet (PAC) on general budget and planning issues for the campus and to convey to PAC the views of the campus community on matters relevant to both budget and planning for the college.

The Planning and Budget Committee (PBC) is responsible for making formal recommendations to the President’s Advisory Council (PAC) concerning institutional planning and matters pertaining to the allocation of Cypress College’s fiscal resources. These recommendations include Classified Prioritization Rankings, Faculty Prioritization Rankings, and the allocation of one-time funding resources. In addition, the Committee will receive periodic operational budget updates throughout the fiscal year to ensure clarity of operational decisions.
