Cypress Writing Center Tutor Job Description
Primarily, CWC tutors assist students with their writing assignments and their Directed Learning Activities (DLAs). Tutors will answer questions and review DLAs one-on-one with students. Tutors also help with the general needs of the CWC such as survey data entry and class visits. CWC tutors are welcome from all levels of education. Hiring is based on the application, the interview process, and the applicant’s college transcripts. Tutors are scheduled at the beginning of each semester to work a set number of hours each week.
