Become a Tutor
Working as a Cypress College tutor is a great way to improve your communication skills and deepen your understanding of the subject you tutor. As a tutor, you can reinforce the concepts you have learned and get the satisfaction of knowing you are helping fellow students achieve their goals. Through paid trainings, our tutors earn professional tutor certification from the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA). We interview and hire prior to the start of the semester, so apply early! Tutors are hired through a selective process based on qualifications, recommendations, and an interview.
Faculty Recommendation Form
A faculty recommendation form may be submitted by a course instructor from the subject area you wish to tutor.
