Veteran’s Day Anniversary Event
The Veterans Resource Center is excited to announce that we will celebrate the 100th Veterans Day Anniversary Thursday, November 8, at 11 a.m. around the flagpole (next to the Business building). This year we will honor Mr. Blas Villalobos, who is an Iraq War veteran and has spent most of his time after an honorable discharge informing policy makers about the challenges veterans encounter when they return home from war. Find out more »“A Different 1%” Veterans Day Reception
With less than 1% of the US population in the armed forces, A Different 1% presents artworks, workshops, and screenings by eight artist-veterans who create bridges for, and to, a public that’s increasingly disconnected from the consequences of war. The event takes place in the Cypress College Art Gallery, next to Theater Arts. Park in Lot 1. Parking permits can be purchased at a kiosk in front of the Business Building located on the edge of Lot 1.

3rd Annual 5K Run/Walk
Cypress College Veterans Organization is hosting its 3rd Annual 5K Run/Walk on March 15, 2019. The race starts at 11 a.m. Participants should check in at Lot 5. The entry fee is $30 per runner. Veterans’ Week
The Veterans Resource Center would like for you to join us by celebrating Veterans Day with a week of events. This year we're continuing to give back to our community by collecting hygiene supplies, canned goods, and a housing assistance workshop. The Vietnam War claimed the lives of more than 58,000 American service-members and wounded more than 150,000. Hygiene Drive

Veterans Resource Fair
On Tuesday, November 7, the VRC will host a resource fair to invite multiple veteran-friendly organizations to the center to inform vets and their families about the services that they can provide to them. The Resource Fair will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Resources will range from employment, furnishings, personal assistance, healthcare, and so much more!
