EOPS/CARE/CalWORKs Application


EOPS is no longer accepting applications for the spring 2021 semester. However, we will begin accepting applications on May 1, 2021 for the fall 2021 semester. To apply, download the EOPS application below and email the completed application to applytoeops@cypresscollege.edu.

In the email subject line, please include your: Last name, First name, Student ID number
In the body of the email, please include your:

EOPS Steps to Success

If you are interested in enrolling in EOPS, please complete the following items before submitting an EOPS application. If you are having difficulties or need further assistance, please call (714) 484-7368 or come by our office in Cypress College Complex, room 201.

Step 1: Apply to Cypress College

If you are a new incoming student to Cypress College, complete your Cypress College application at cypresscollege.edu.

Step 2: Assessment

Cypress College allows incoming students to benefit from using Multiple Measures for English, English as a Second Language (ESL), and math course placements. For more information please contact the Counseling Center at (714) 484-7015.

Step 3: Apply for CCPG

Apply for California College Promise Grant (CCPG) — formerly known as Board of Governors Fee Waiver (BOGW) by completing FAFSA. If you are an AB540 student, you can apply for the CCPG by completing the California Dream Act.

Step 4: Obtain Transcripts

If applicable, obtain previous college transcripts from all colleges attended (may be unofficial).

Step 5*: EOPS Application

Submit your completed EOPS application and supplemental documents (assessment results and unofficial transcripts) to the EOPS office as soon as possible. Applications are accepted until the program is full.

Step 6: EOPS Orientation

Attend a scheduled EOPS orientation if your application is approved.
