Wellness Vending Machine
Cypress Student Health & Wellness Center is pleased to increase student access to Student Health & Wellness Center products by introducing the Wellness Vending Machine (WVM).
The WVM is located in the L/LRC Lobby. There is a minimum charge of $1 on items to support the WVM and make it sustainable for future students.
Cypress Student Health & Wellness Center was selected to participate in the California Community College Chancellor’s Office to participate in the WVM Pilot Program. Assembly Bill 2482 underpins this pilot with directions that the WVM dispenses wellness products, including but not limited to condoms, dental dams, menstrual cups, lubrication, tampons, menstrual pads, pregnancy tests, and nonprescription medications, including emergency contraception (Plan B).
*Free drug test strips, regular condoms, menstrual products, and many over-the-counter medications are available in the Student Health & Wellness Center (located in Temporary Building 17 in Parking Lot 4). The Student Health & Wellness center is open Monday – Thursday 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
We do ask students to be mindful not to take more than two items of one kind. We want each student to have access to items they might need.
*Note: WVM items may not be the same brand and/or variety as single dose items in the H&W Center.
