CCAG Presents: ‘HAIRTAGE: Tangled, Twisted, and Black,’ curated by Nzuji De Magalhaes
Curated by artist and Cypress Adjunct Professor Nzuji De Magalhaes, the HAIRTAGE: Tangled, Twisted, and Black exhibition and speaker series brings together artists who approach Black hair as a locus of tension and affirmation. The exhibition is online, along with details of the speaker series, which kicks off on February 8, 11:30 a.m., when April Bey will discuss her work. In addition to the HAIRTAGE Speaker Series, while classes are online, CCAG is offering exhibition tours via Zoom.

Annual Student Art Show, Adaptive Vision II, Opening Reception
The annual Students’ Show, Adaptive Vision II, opens on Thursday May 13, 5:30 p.m. The exhibition includes works from across all the Fine Arts disciplines, presented in a 3D environment that visitors can “walk” around, viewing the works and clicking on them for more information. At the opening event, we will celebrate this year’s Art Department graduates.

Cup and Bowl Sale
Cypress College Ceramics is excited to present the Cup and Bowl Sale this year. There will be cups, bowls, sculptures, vases, etc. All of the money raised will go directly to Ceramics, which helps us give scholarships to the students, pay the fees for ceramic conferences, and for guest speakers.
