Welcome to the electronic version of the Scholarship Wall we have in our Financial Aid Office!

As we come across new Scholarships, we’ll post them here for students to review and choose what they may qualify for.

Please note that we are not affiliated with any of the scholarships below and are providing this information as a courtesy to our students. Information provided below comes directly from each Scholarship provider. Please click the links provided for each scholarship for full details.

June 2020 Deadline

  1. Chairish ‘Design Your Future’ Scholarship ($2,500 one-time)
    Deadline 6/30/20

    • Chairish is the largest and fastest growing online source for chic and unique furniture, art and decor. Chairish is committed to helping college students achieve their dreams through our Chairish Scholarship Program.
    • To participate, applicants should:
      1. Open to graduating high school seniors, college undergraduates, and graduate students of any major
      2. Students are asked to submit a 500-word essay designing their ideal future and their plans to achieve that dream
      3. Minimum 2.0/4.0 cumulative GPA required
      4. Students must be enrolled or planning to enroll at an accredited 2-year, 4-year, or vocational/technical college or university in the U.S.

July 2020 Deadline

  1. Autism and Special Needs Awareness Scholarship ($2,500 one-time)
    Deadline 7/1/20

    • Gacovino, Lake & Associates, P.C. is proud to award a scholarship in the amount of $2,500 to a college applicant who is on the autism spectrum or has a documented learning disability. With this scholarship, we hope to raise awareness of autism spectrum disorder and special needs while also supporting the education and bright future of a young person who is overcoming their diagnosis and working toward a college degree.
    • To participate, applicants should:
      1. Have a diagnosis or documented history of autism or a learning disability.
      2.  Be planning to enroll or currently enrolled in an accredited college or university undergraduate program in Fall 2020 or Spring 2021.
      3. Submit an essay as described on the homepage (see link above).
      4. Agree to the scholarship terms and conditions.
  2. TranslationServices.com Scholarship ($500 one-time)
    Deadline: 7/1/20

    • At TranslationServices.com, we help academics, businesspeople, and authors reach an international audience by translating and localizing their work. Quite simply, we love language and think that books can change lives. But many children and adults don’t have access to books because of poverty and homelessness. That’s why for every translation order, we donate five books to a homeless shelter.
    • To participate, applicants should:
      1. Be a graduating high school senior or an undergraduate student in the United States (open to international students)
      2. Have maintained a cumulative GPA above 3.0 over the previous school year
      3. Provide permission to publish your essay on the TranslationServices.com blog
      4. Apply and submit essay by noon (US Eastern time) on July 1, 2020.
  3. Community Hero Scholarship ($5,000 one-time)
    Deadline 7/3/20

    • Course Hero is an online learning platform where you can access over 30 million course-specific study resources contributed by a community of students and educators.
    • To participate, applicants should:
      1. Create a free Course Hero account
      2. Write and submit a 500-word essay
        • What inspired you to begin dedicating your time to help those in need? How has serving your community impacted your character and outlook on life?
      3. Must have completed at least 20 hours of community service in 2019
      4. Are currently enrolled full-time or part-time in a two-year or four-year accredited undergraduate or graduate college or university as listed with the U.S. Department of Education
      5. Have at least a 3.0 GPA.
  4. Sober Partners® College Scholarship ($1,000 one-time)
    Deadline 7/31/20

        • Our Mission is to bring awareness to students and their families about the dangers of alcohol and drug abuse as we enter higher education and remind them that it can happen to anyone of us.
        • To participate, applicants should:
          1. Be a U.S. citizen or permanent U.S. Resident
          2. Have a minimum GPA of 3.0
          3. Be enrolled or accepted in your school
          4. Consent to be listed as the winner of The Sober Partners College Scholarship on our website
          5. Spend awarded funds only on college tuition, room/board, or other education related expenses.

August 2020 Deadline

  1. Kaplan Group Business Scholarship ($1,000 one-time)
    Deadline 8/9/20

    • For over 20 years, The Kaplan Group has had extensive experience solving problems and negotiating B2B transactions for clients large and small. Now, we want to give back. We see value in continuous education and helping students grow. Because of this, The Kaplan Group is offering a $1,000 scholarship to any undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a business or law-oriented degree program.
    • To participate, applicants should:
      1. Have a minimum 2.5 GPA
      2. Have a major in: Finance, Accounting, Law, Management, Entrepreneurship, Economics, Business Administration
      3. Choose one of the three 600-word essay topics on the website and and complete the application.
